The Afinia DLP-2200 is a complete Digital Label Press that integrates every stage of label production into a single system: full-color printing, lamination, rotary die-cutting, waste removal, slitting and dual-spindle rewinding. Starting from a simple blank roll, it delivers finished labels ready for application with no external steps.
At the heart of the system is the Afinia L901 printer with Memjet Waterfall engine, delivering 1600 dpi full-color resolution in CMYKK configuration. Production speed ranges from 9 to 18 m/min, with a capacity exceeding 25,000 3Ă—4-inch labels per hour. The silent lamination system supports self-wound and liner film, while the 18-inch magnetic cylinder accepts low-cost flexible steel dies with rapid changeover.
With rolls up to 460 mm outer diameter (approximately 1000 meters of material), high-precision laser registration sensor and splice table for quick media changes, the DLP-2200 is designed for continuous industrial production. It eliminates the need to outsource label production, drastically reducing lead times and operating costs.
